Bill Callahan!!! One of my favorite singers, songs, and albums!!! Can’t tell you the number of times I’ve listened to “Eid Ma Clack Shaw,” off that album, and his Smog tune “Rock Bottom Riser.” The “Too Many Birds” is special to me in another way, too. A dear friend who used to make me CD mixes put it on a mix a long time ago and introduced me to the song. He’s passed on now, but I think of him whenever I hear or think of the song. He was a dear friend. I also can’t watch this Pixar short without hearing the song.
